Revitalize and Shine: Comprehensive Deck Cleaning and Staining by Bravo Pressure Washing

Bravo Pressure Washing was engaged for a significant project in Bixby, Oklahoma, originally contracted for a deck cleaning and staining job. Upon inspection, it became apparent that both the deck and pergola were severely damaged, with dangerous rotting compromising their safety. This led to an expanded scope of work to fully renovate the back area, transforming it into a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing space.

The project commenced with the careful removal of the deteriorated pergola, which was beyond repair and no longer viable. To help keep costs down for the customer, we salvaged as much of the existing Trex decking as possible. For the sections of the deck where the Trex decking was damaged beyond repair, we replaced these areas with new deck lumber, achieving a balance between cost savings and quality.

To ensure the deck's structural integrity, we rebuilt the framework using high-quality, pressure-treated lumber, reinforced with Simpson Strong-Tie connectors and larger, more robust screws. The salvaged Trex decking was meticulously cleaned and reinstalled. We then applied Behr Chocolate stain to the Trex decking to restore its appearance and provide durable protection against environmental wear. The new deck lumber was also stained to match, ensuring a seamless and uniform look.

In addition to the deck work, we refreshed the privacy siding and posts by cleaning and prepping them before applying a high-quality exterior paint from Sherwin Williams. This paint job complemented the newly stained decking and enhanced the overall appearance of the space.

The project concluded with a thorough cleanup of the work area, ensuring the site was left pristine and safe. A final inspection confirmed that all aspects of the renovation met Bravo Pressure Washing’s high-quality standards.

The customer was thrilled with the results, expressing her satisfaction with the transformation. She mentioned that even her daughter, who is not easily pleased, absolutely loved the finished project. The combination of salvaged materials, new lumber, and expert craftsmanship resulted in a stunning enhancement to the home’s outdoor environment, all while keeping costs in check.
